Erik Rosenwood will serve as a panelist as part of a virtual roundtable discussion relating to the recent North Carolina Supreme Court decision in Crescent University City Venture, LLC v. Trussway Mfg., Inc. In its opinion, the Supreme Court held that, in commercial contexts, the economic loss rule bars tort claims against lower-tier subcontractors and suppliers, even in the absence of privity. Erik will join other attorneys from North Carolina in discussing, among other things, the practical considerations for commercial, construction, and insurance coverage litigation in North Carolina.
The CLE will take place on Wednesday, April 28, between 12:00 and 1:30.
Attorneys can sign up to attend the CLE through the Mecklenburg County Bar's website found here.
