BIO
Austin Coates is an attorney at Rosenwood, Rose & Litwak, PLLC. His practice focuses on civil litigation, including construction, business, commercial, and other complex disputes.

Before joining Rosenwood, Rose& Litwak, PLLC, Austin handled a variety of civil litigation matters. He has experience with complex discovery, depositions, motion practice, case evaluation, client communications, and overall case strategy, and he works to help move matters toward efficient and practical case resolution.

 

Austin earned his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law, where he was a member of the Wake Forest Law Journal of Business and Intellectual Property. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, in History and Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama Honors College. Austin is admitted to practice in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Outside of work, Austin enjoys spending time with his dogs, Zeke, a yellow lab, and Wrigley, a Goldendoodle, as well as golf, movies, and following Alabama sports, the Miami Dolphins, and the St. Louis Cardinals.​
